Program Information
Golden Gate University (GGU) is proud to partner with the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) in Chennai, India, to offer an innovative academic pathway for students pursuing careers in finance.
Through this collaboration, students first complete a Graduate Certificate in Global Finance at LIBA, which serves as a stepping stone to GGU’s Master of Science in Finance. Students who meet admission requirements and achieve strong academic performance in the Graduate Certificate in Global Finance at LIBA can transfer credits toward their MS Finance degree at GGU.
Students may choose to complete the GGU MS Finance degree online or on campus in San Francisco, offering flexibility for diverse learner needs. This partnership combines LIBA’s regional expertise and GGU’s global academic leadership to create a high-impact, affordable, and internationally accessible finance education.
Transferable Courses from LIBA to GGU MS Finance
Students must earn a grade of “B” or higher in each of the following LIBA courses to transfer them into the GGU MS in Finance program.
In recognition of the academic rigor and alignment between LIBA’s Graduate Certificate in Global Finance and GGU’s MS Finance curriculum, GGU accepts all 18 units completed at LIBA toward the MS Finance degree. This is a special exception to GGU’s general transfer credit policy, which typically limits graduate transfer credit to 12 units.
