FI 307 Financial Modeling 3 unit(s) Presents the theory and practice of financial management with emphasizing computer-based modeling and forecasting. Uses spreadsheet and other software products to analyze the impact of financial decisions related to financial statement analysis, cash budgeting, cost of capital determination, capital budgeting and capital structure choices. The course covers a variety of techniques, such as sensitivity and scenario analysis, optimization methods, Monte Carlo simulation, regression and time-series analysis and neural network models. Prerequisite(s): FI 300 .
