This course introduces the legal framework governing business transactions and organizational operations, with emphasis on the principles and sources of business law in a specific country (e.g. Germany) in the context of private international law. Topics include conflict of laws, contracts and legal transactions, consumer protection, tort law, business entities, and employment law. Students analyze legal issues arising in commercial relationships and workplace settings through discussion and case-based application of legal reasoning.
