This course examines the ethical, societal, regulatory, and governance dimensions of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern society. As AI technologies become deeply embedded in critical sectors-from healthcare and finance to law enforcement and national security-questions surrounding accountability, transparency, bias, security, and control become increasingly urgent. Prerequisite(s): MSAI 300.
