LLM 340 Taxation, Politics & the Law

This course considers utilization of the tax system to achieve public policy goals, including assumptions, problems, and social impacts of alternative public taxation policies. Taxation policy will be examined in light of current political theories and electoral proposals. (Offered through the LLM in Taxation and Estate Planning Programs.)
