ECON 62 Introduction to Microeconomics 4 unit(s) This is an introductory course covering major topics in microeconomics. Topics covered include microeconomics vs macroeconomics; supply and demand; elasticity; utility maximization; production and costs; game theory; market structures; perfect competition; long-run supply; monopolies: monopolistic competition; oligopoly; an introduction to labor markets; poverty, inequality, and discrimination; and international trade. This course may not be audited. This course is offered only for students enrolled in GGU Degrees+ programs, in partnership with Outlier.org.
