ITM 332 Security Standards and Practices

This course provides students the skills to manage cybersecurity risk both for internal and external stakeholders. Students will learn to apply the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) framework for improving critical infrastructure and limiting cybersecurity risks. In this course we will also review the data security, compliance, and regulatory environment (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, FISMA, PCI, GPG13, FERPA). Prerequisite(s): ITM 323 and ITM 331.
