LAW - 803B Secured Transactions 2 unit(s) This course introduces students to the Uniform Commercial Code (article 1 and article 9), to essential concepts of borrowing and lending in a credit economy, and to the ways in which lenders reduce the risk of non-payment by obtaining an interest in business and consumer borrowers’ personal property. It is strongly recommended for anyone planning to represent lenders, businesses or consumers in commercial transactions.
