FI 320 Financial Strategy and Value Creation 3 unit(s) Demonstrates the use of competitive strategy to create shareholder value, industry attractiveness, firm-based resources and competitive advantage in a variety of settings, including technology-intensive and mature industries. Introduces the use of transaction cost economics and the capital-asset pricing model to analyze vertical integration, diversification and global strategies. Extensively uses case studies to build strategy development skills. Prerequisite(s): FI 300 .
