LAW - 897C Civil Litigation: Depositions 2 unit(s) This course focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of preparing for, taking and defending depositions in the course of litigation. Students will learn deposition strategies and questioning techniques using a variety of simulations to provide students with a wide array of contexts. The course is designed to give students continual practice and feedback in order to maximize skill-development, preparation and skills needed to handle clients, deponents and other lawyers to achieve optimal resolution of a case. Corequisite(s): LAW 804 Evidence .
