LAWU 340 Legal Research with Artificial Intelligence 3 unit(s) This is a course intended to introduce students to using tools of artificial intelligence commonly used in law practice, while also covering some of the basics of legal research.
The course will explore how to access federal or state law, determining the weight of authority from various sources, and important skills required to communicate the results. We will examine primary sources of law: legislative codes, administrative and judicial interpretations, as well as useful secondary sources.
