AIML 318 Databases, Datawarehousing and Advanced Python

This course will introduce object-oriented programming using Python with emphasis on the fundamentals of structured design with classes, including development, testing, implementation, and documentation. Additionally, students will also gain exposure to computer networking concepts as it is essential to get exposure to how communication protocols like TCP/IP, etc., share resources in the context of data science projects. This course will also provide the required foundational concept and process for data engineering. Students will learn data repositories, such as relational and non-relational databases, data warehouses, data marts, data lake, etc. that are useful to extract data, transform it make it ready for analytical modeling.
