LAW - 897A Civil Litigation - PreTrial Phase 2 unit(s) Students handle every aspect of pretrial preparation of a civil lawsuit. They proceed from the initial client contact, through formulating client representational strategy, to developing a case theory. They draft all the case pleadings as well as motions challenging the sufficiency of the pleadings. The course ends with a pre-trial settlement conference. This course counts toward completion of the Experiential Learning Requirement.
