GGU Worldwide makes higher education affordable and accessible to students around the world in multiple languages. As the international programming platform of Golden Gate University, an accredited nonprofit institution founded in 1901, located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial and high-tech district, and near Silicon Valley’s global epicenter for innovation, GGU Worldwide offers high-quality, practice-based degree programs, taught by experienced practitioners, influencers, and thought leaders.
upGrad Partner Programs
GGU Worldwide partners with upGrad, a global leader in online higher education, to serve degree-seeking students from around the world. Programs currently offered include Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Laws (LLM) in International Business and Finance Law, Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA), and Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM).
GGU-upGrad Partner Programs are available to students residing both outside and within the United States. However, these programs are not eligible for U.S. Federal Student Aid. Study abroad and immersion students must obtain non-immigrant visas to participate. GGU-upGrad Partner Programs are offered on a cohort basis requiring continuous course enrollment through degree completion. Consequently, they are offered at a lower tuition rate than GGU’s traditional degree programs.
upGrad Study Abroad Program
Under this partnership, GGU students enrolled in degree programs on the upGrad platform may opt to complete their last year of study at GGU’s San Francisco Campus under the Study Abroad program. This provides students with experiences both inside and outside the classroom including internships and US government-authorized post-completion practical training.
upGrad Immersion program
The partnership also provides GGU students enrolled in degree programs on the upGrad platform an opportunity to experience San Francisco and the Silicon Valley ecosystem through an intensive, academic immersion program. Students are immersed in the financial, technological, political, cultural, economic, environmental, and social justice experiences that make the San Francisco Bay Area one of the most innovative, competitive, and livable regions in the world.
