The 15-unit Undergraduate Certificate in Accounting is designed for students who do not have an undergraduate accounting degree and is intended to enhance their accounting knowledge and expand their career opportunities. In addition, it may fulfill the education requirements to sit for the CPA or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) examinations.
All 15 units of the program must be taken at Golden Gate University with a grade of “C” or better. However, students intending to apply to the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) program must attain at least a 3.0 “B” overall GPA in these courses, since these courses comprise the MSA program’s foundation requirement. All course prerequisites must be satisfied.
