Project Management Practices Graduate Certificate (Cohort)

Program Information

This certificate provides a concentrated course of study for students seeking to build their career in the growing profession of project management. Graduates leave with the following knowledge and skills: beginning and advanced project management technical skills based on the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), Agile management framework and tools, and the complex leadership and organizational skills to manage virtual and in-person project teams.  The completion of just one GGU class fulfills PMI’s education requirement to apply for either the CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or PMP (Project Management Professional) exams.

Cohort Program Advantages and Restrictions:

  • Admission is restricted to new students; continuing students may pursue the non-cohort Project Management Practices Graduate Certificate  program.
  • The program has no proficiency requirements.
  • Students must enroll in both course sections that are offered in a given term.
  • Tuition will be priced at a lower rate for cohort sections.
  • Classes will be alternate between in-person and online, with in-person classes meeting on Saturdays at the San Francisco location.
  • Students must earn a minimum “C” grade in each course and a minimum 3.00 cumulative program GPA in order earn the certificate.
  • Students may not elect Credit/No Credit (Pass/Fail) grading in cohort sections.
  • Students may not audit cohort sections.
  • Only students enrolled in the cohort program may enroll in the cohort sections.

Required Courses - 12 units
